New Accounts

For fully Government funded establishments such as, Schools, Colleges, Academies, Universities & Local Authorities, we offer an account facility for payment in 30 days of invoice date. For all other organisations your order must include payment, either by cheque, Switch or Mastercard/Visa. dfe UK Limited sells to educational establishments, the public sector and other businesses. We are unable to sell our products to private individuals - sorry.

Delivery Costs

All orders over £250 excluding VAT are delivered FREE to mainland UK. For orders under £250 excluding VAT there is a delivery charge of £25 per order. We may part-deliver your order; all deliveries are to ground floor unless otherwise specified. For more information please telephone 0845 3 58 59 60.

Order Acknowledgement

Once an order is placed an e-mail acknowledgement will be sent to the contact e-mail address given on your account. Please check that all details are correct and telephone immediately to report any anomalies.

Exchanges and Refunds

If your goods are faulty or damaged on delivery we will exchange the product. dfe must be notified with 24 hours. If you are not satisfied with the goods for any other reason, we will exchange providing packaging remains and they are in saleable condition. The collection of goods will be arranged through a nominated carrier and cost of return will be at your expense. We would require notification within 24 hours. 

Goods ordered in error

dfe may at its discretion exchange goods to the same value subject to the goods ordered in error being in saleable condition. However a 25% surcharge + a carriage charge of £25 excluding VAT will be levied for handling and re-stocking. We would require notification within 24 hours.

Made to Order Items

Many products are manufactured specifically to order. We can only accept these goods back if they are faulty, and not for any other reason.

Prices

All prices shown exclude VAT. Whilst we will endeavour to maintain website prices, if there are excessive raw material cost increases or currency exchange rate fluctuations beyond our control, we may need to review certain prices. You will be notified of any increase when placing your order.

Summer Holidays

Please note that during the summer holidays lead times will be extended. To avoid delays please send orders where possible by June 30th, ensuring that colour size and height details etc are provided. Also if the school is not open for deliveries during the summer holidays please state when ordering. Data Protection dfe is a registered data user under the Data Protection Act. We would never make your details available to any other organisation for any purpose whatsoever.
